
Board members Kenny Ridings and Phil Moffett were recognized for their twelve years of service to Loudon County Schools at the August Board meeting. Both gentlemen did not seek re-election, and this was their last Board meeting. We thank you for your service to our schools!

All persons age 65+ are eligible for a Loudon County Athletic Admission pass. Simply show your ID at any sporting event to receive a pass. The LCAA pass is good for entry to any Loudon County Schools athletic event.

The GBS Construction House was sold Saturday for $140,000! Thanks to Gray Williams, his students, Daniel O’Neill, Leroy Johnson, Massey Electric, John H Coleman, Mike Tarwater. & Josh Moore from EK Auctioneers for volunteering his time to conduct the auction. Proceeds will be used to build another house! This is CTE!

It is almost back to school time for teachers and students. Once again, Loudon County will have a staggered start by last name starting on August 5. Check with your elementary school for PreK/K start dates. We can't wait to see you! 🏫🎒🚸


On Friday, July 26 - Sunday, July 28, 2024, Tennesseans will be able to save on eligible computers, school supplies and clothing both online and in-person. Items individually priced at $100 or less are eligible, while items priced over $100 are non-eligible.


Loudon County was represented this week at the CTE Institute in Chattanooga with a presentation on helping students transition to life after high school. Goal setting, guest speakers working in various fields, and trade school/college options are explored prior to graduation.

Third grade students who did not receive "exceeds" or "meets" expectations on the ELA section of the Grade 3 ELA TCAP assessment are encouraged to attend the summer camp at their home school to be promoted to the 4th grade. Third grade students attending summer camp will have the opportunity to retake the 3rd Grade ELA TCAP.
