Fort Loudoun Middle School teacher Madison Williams was recognized by the School Board last night for her courageous actions in saving a student from choking. Presenting her a plaque of appreciation was Principal Blake Harris and Board Member Stephanie Hatcher.
Malachi Hawkins, LHS student, was recognized at the September Board of Education meeting for his outstanding achievement competing at the HOSA International Leadership Conference. He was presented a plaque by board member Stephanie Hatcher. Congratulations Malachi!

The latest measure of studentsā academic growth known as the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment (TVAAS) shows Loudon County Schools is among the top school districts in East Tennessee! Loudon County Schools is proud to have been designated a Level 5 school district as a result of its 2024-2025 TVAAS data released yesterday by the Tennessee Department of Education. A Level 5 is the highest TVAAS designation and indicates there was significant evidence the district's students made more growth than expected.
Loudon County Schools earned an overall Level 5 composite score for student academic growth.
District earned a Level 5 score for Literacy & Numeracy
District showed at least a yearās worth of growth in every academic subject.
At the school level,
Three schools earned a Level 5 designation (Eaton Elementary, Highland Park Elementary, and North Middle School).
Loudon High School earned an overall Level 4 composite score for student academic growth and was the top high school in the county with the most student growth in 2024-25.
78% of schools in the district showed at least a yearās worth of growth as indicated by an overall composite score of Level 3 or higher.
