Loudon County Schools hosted the Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) Fall District meeting for the East region Sept. 24 at Greenback School. We were proud to showcase many items made by our CTE students and the food was prepared and served by the Loudon High School Culinary students. Justin Lett, GBS student, opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance. The meetings focus was on legislative and legal issues and current education “hot” topics. This event also recognized school board members, a local school volunteer award finalist, and a local student who is competing for a college scholarship. During this meeting, LaVonne Barbour and Melissa Browder received their Level II Boardsmanship award. Melissa Browder and Lisa Harvey received their Level II Boardsmanship award. Finally, Zack Cusick, Lisa Harvey, and Kenneth Presley received their Level IV Boardsmanship awards.








A Family Life curriculum informational meeting will be held at the Loudon County Technology Center (4380 Harrison Road, Lenoir City) on Wednesday, September 25th from 9-10am. You may contact Kate Galyon or Marvin Feezell for further information at 865-986-2036.

Congratulations to Loudon County Schools 2024 Tennessee Science Teachers Association (TSTA) nominees: Lachelle Wiggins from Eaton Elementary and Cassandra Melton from Philadelphia Elementary. TSTA recognizes outstanding science teaching throughout the state.

Board members Kenny Ridings and Phil Moffett were recognized for their twelve years of service to Loudon County Schools at the August Board meeting. Both gentlemen did not seek re-election, and this was their last Board meeting. We thank you for your service to our schools!

All persons age 65+ are eligible for a Loudon County Athletic Admission pass. Simply show your ID at any sporting event to receive a pass. The LCAA pass is good for entry to any Loudon County Schools athletic event.
