North Middle School hosted an incredible day of innovation as students from North Middle, Fort Loudoun Middle, and Philadelphia Middle came together for the Loudon County Middle School Robotics Showcase. From Mix & Match timed runs to coding exhibitions, Battle Bot tournaments, and Best of Show presentations, students spent the day designing, testing, collaborating, and competing. Their creativity, teamwork, and problemāsolving were on full display from the moment doors opened to the final awards. Proud of these future engineers and innovators representing Loudon County Schools!

On Monday, Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett visited our schools to present the Anne Dallas Dudley Gold Award ā recognizing 100% voter registration among eligible seniors. Greenback was one of only five schools in Tennessee to earn this honor every year since the award began five years ago. Loudon High School is recognized for the second consecutive year.

A lifelong Lenoir City resident and Loudon County Schools graduate, Dr. Vaughn brings four years of administrative experience and a strong record of student-centered leadership. Under her guidance, North Middle earned TVAAS Level 5 and Reward School distinctions, and she has helped lead STEM designation efforts and expand CTE opportunities for students.
Dr. Vaughn began her career teaching at Eaton Elementary and later taught math and science at North Middle. She holds degrees from Tennessee Tech and Carson-Newman University, including her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
She and her husband, Travis, have two sons and are active in their church and community. Their family loves cheering on their boys at soccer games and spending time together.
Dr. Vaughn is excited to build a strong foundation for the Riverhawks community as Ridgeview opens its doors in late 2027.

Itās almost time to welcome our newest Loudon County learners! Join us on Friday, April 10 for Kindergarten and PreāK RoundāUp at each Loudon County School. Registration takes place at the school your child is zoned to attend, and forms must be completed by the childās legal parent or guardian.
