Due to predicted severe weather conditions, Loudon County Schools will be closed Friday, January 12. Students are also off school Monday, January 15 for MLK Day and teacher in-service.


January 9 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! We know our School Resource Officers work for a cause - not applause; however, this is a day to honor their contributions to our schools. Thank you for your presence each day keeping our students and staff safe!

Today is the last full day of school before Christmas Break. Students will have a half-day tomorrow (Dec. 19) with dismissal at 11:00. Buses will run. Here's hoping everyone has a joyful time off with family and friends.

We are pleased to announce the winners for this year's VFW awards. Patriot Pen Essay contest: Kira Flynn, 7th grade, NMS; Voice of Democracy: Alexis Roberts, LHS; Teacher of the Year: Middle School, Jeana Gray, FLMS; Teacher of the Year: Elementary, Jamie Byars, EES. Jeana Gray (FLMS) also won the Teacher of the Year for District 2 and her packet will be forwarded to the state competition.


Fort Loudoun Middle School will be closed on Wednesday, November 29 due to a malfunction with the school’s central heating system.
All other Loudon County Schools are open on normal schedule.
