Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of October 16th. 1. We are entering the final week of our Read-a-thon fundraiser. Continue to ask your friends and families for donations. This is our only fundraiser of the year! We have great prizes this year from slap bracelets, t-shirts, guest announcer spot, surprise field trip, and even a Hover Board and Kart. All money to qualify for prizes are due Wednesday! 2. Preorder for wristbands and tickets came home today. In order to secure yours at a discounted price you must return the form and money by Thursday. 3. On Friday, during our LIVE announcements, we will announce our top winners and Royal Court. Following the morning announcements we will have the Royal Read-a-thon parade and kick-off the day full of reading. During the day each grade level will go outside to walk the track in honor of former teacher Mrs. Mary Lee Wampler Hitch. 5. From 5-8 the track will come alive on Friday, October 20th for our annual carnival and auction. We hope you will join us. Please extend an invite to your family and friends too! 6. The Auction is live and will close at 7:30 pm the night of the Carnival (10/20). You will be able to purchase and take-home items the night of the Carnival if you are the highest bidder.
