On Tuesdays and Thursdays our teachers collaboratively plan together. 🚀 This time together boost each team's creativity and productivity. We love collaborative planning! 🤝✨

Are you ready for Bingo for Books? It's this month's Family Engagement activity. It will take place on Fri-YAY from 5-7! We will also have the book fair open during this time, so please make plans to join us.

Addison was our guest announcer this morning. She reminded everyone that "history teaches by example". By studying history, we can learn more about how to be smart, brave, and fair to others. We can learn to be better people. ❤️🚀💙

Good afternoon, Eaton families!
1. We are planning on participating in the state-wide tornado drill on Wednesday. Teachers will practice with their classrooms tomorrow prior to the school-wide drill.
2. Friday is a big day at Eaton. Our Book Fair is kicking off and Bingo for Books is that evening. Bingo for Books will be from 5-7. This is a free event to participate in bingo. We will have concessions and some limited-edition Eaton swag for sale. We have tumblers, trucker hats, and winter beanies available on a first-come basis. Each item is $20.00. The book fair will also be open that evening for early shopping.
3. This week’s parent tip is a toolkit designed to help families understand student testing. During the last term of the school year different assessments are given and the data is used to inform decision making at the school. Check out the link to gather some more information on the different types of assessments. https://5il.co/36vf6
Thank you for all that you do to make EES great! Have a great week and if we can do anything please reach out.

Our staff had a great morning PD led by our own teachers. 🚀 Garren, Dixon, and Howard shared tips and strategies to foster a love of reading. 📖 Lufkin and Myers hosted a technology auction where our staff learned about new resources they can use in the classroom tomorrow! 🤠

📢 Reminder: There will be no school tomorrow (Monday, February 17th) in observance of President’s Day.
This is a time to reflect on the leadership and vision of those who have shaped our nation’s history. 🇺🇸 We hope you enjoy the long weekend with your family!
Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 18th. See you then! ✨

Today, we celebrate the incredible SRO's who go above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. 🌟👮♂️👮♀️ Your presence is invaluable, and your positive impact is felt every day. 🙏💙

As Valentine’s Day nears, we ask your help on a certain matter. We REQUEST, that there be no flower or balloon deliveries to the school for Valentine’s Day. Please enjoy those special deliveries at home with your child. We guarantee they love those too!

It was a joy to have Jenna as our guest announcer this morning. Words of Wisdom: Love may be invisible, but acts of love are easy to see. Today, focus on the bare essentials of life. Show somebody some love. This is one secret you don't wanna keep!

Miss Hannah's class worked on greater than/less than symbols during Rocket Time! She made "alligator sticks" to help with learning greater than and less than signs. The alligator always eats the bigger number!!
