Loudon County School District is committed to helping all children succeed. We have many ways to help children who are struggling to learn and who need additional supports to be successful. Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI²) is one form of support.
What is RTI²?
A multi-tiered delivery system that uses a data-driven problem-solving model to identify specific student needs and match appropriate instructional strategies.
In Tennessee, the Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI²) Framework is a component of a Tennessee State Department initiative. The implementation plan has three legs with student achievement at the center:
2020-2021 – Testing Dates:
Fall: 8/7/20 – 8/21/20 Winter: 12/7/20 – 12/18/20 Spring: 4/6/21 – 4/20/21
Fall: All Students (1st – 8th Grade)
Tier II & Tier III high school students and students with academic concerns
Winter: All Students (1st - 8th Grade)
Tier II & Tier III high school students and students with academic concerns
Spring: All Students (K- 8th grade)
Tier II & Tier III high school students and students with academic concerns
