TDOE Provides Free Decodable Readers & Family Literacy Nights

More than 48,000 families have ordered the free At-Home Decodable Reading Series. The department is partnering with community organizations across the state to host Family Literacy Nights which offer an excellent way for our families to learn more about how to use decodable readers with their child. Click the title link for registration information.

Free Decodable Readers for K-2

Tennessee families with students in kindergarten, first, or second grade have free access to the At-Home Decodable Reading Series. Click the title link for more information.

Kindergarten/PreK Early Registration

It's Kindergarten/PreK Round-Up time! Applications are due to the school that your child will attend by Thursday, April 1st. Contact the school for more information on returning completed registration packets.

For Pre-K, the child must be four years of age on or before August 15, 2021.

For Kindergarten, the child must be five years of age on or before August 15, 2021.

No School Jan. 8 - Snow Day

Loudon County Schools will be closed tomorrow Friday January 8, 2021 due to forecasted inclement weather and hazardous road conditions.

No School Friday Dec. 18

Loudon County Schools will be closed Friday, Dec. 18. Thursday, Dec. 17 will be the last day of school for students in 2020. We look forward to seeing our students back on January 4, 2021. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our families!
