Steekee Now on the "Cutting Edge"
We at Steekee have been blessed by amazing generosity by family and friends. We have also worked very hard to be awarded several grants. Through these avenues, Steekee has truly arrived in the 21st century. Beginning this year, almost every K-5 classroom will be equipped with interactive Smart Boards. All K-5 classrooms are now equipped with N-Computing Systems that place four computers within each room, all with flat screen monitors. Our computer lab is equipped with 25 computer stations, all with flat screen monitors. We will soon have Smart Response Systems in every 3rd-5th class. These will greatly enhance each teacher's ability to assess all students, all the time. It's also extremely fun for the students. It is in our plans this year to update our teacher machines so that the technology within the rooms will run at optimum levels. We would also like to finish equipping each K-5 class, along with our pre-k classes, with Smart Boards. This can be accomplished, in large part, though your generosity and financial support. We are so excited about how far we've come, and where we want to go!

Many Thanks for a Great Evening!

Our annual Fall Carnival dodged the raindrops to turn out as a smashing success. Once again our Steekee Team, along with our families and many volunteers have outdone themselves. The carnival was a fantastic event this year with a huge crowd that had a wonderful evening playing games, enjoying the entertainment, and interacting with our community. This year's carnival was also an unprecedented success for Steekee's major fund-raising endeavor of the year. We more than accomplished our monetary goals, and will immediately put those funds into classrooms to benifit our students. We at Steekee can't express the gratitude we have for our extended family that attended our carnival, and/or donated their time, talents, or money to our wonderful school. THANK YOU so much!

Steekee appreciates the pride and effort shown by these students and all of the students that participated in our ticket sales. They truly "can't hide their Steekee Pride!"
