Philadelphia Students take honors in Hiawassee College Academic Bowl
Megan Costner, Baylie Lawhon, Caleb Arp, Haley Boals, Josh Sexton, Josh Gilreath and Isaiah Lowe represented Philadelphia in the Hiawassee College Academic Bowl on Feb. 26, 2010. The competition consisted of a written exam of general knowledge, spelling bee and a super quiz. Our team took 3rd overall in the written exam and 3rd over in the spelling bee. Caleb Arp and Baylie Lawhon were the top scorers from Philadelphia. Caleb Arp placed 4th in the overall competition and will be representing Hiawassee Educational Talent Search in state competition in March. Congratulations to all of our students! JOB WELL DONE!

D.C. represented Philadelphia in a recent REGIONAL Spelling Bee. Over 300 participants in the competition. DC CAME IN 15th overall!!!! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
