LAUNCH Extended Learning is a free program that provides a healthy snack and offers exciting opportunities before/after school at Steekee Elementary, Loudon Elementary, Fort Loudoun Middle School, Philadelphia Elementary, and Greenback School. Primary funding is from the Tennessee Department of Education Office of Extended Learning via the Tennessee Lottery for Education: Afterschool Programs [LEAPs] grant and the 21st Century Community Learning Center [CCLC] grant.
LAUNCH focuses on STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics] activities, physical activity, tutoring, enrichment activities, and the arts. We help our student reach their academic potential in a fun and safe environment.
